Dr. Gould’s primary nutritional focus is on enzymes.  She has been extremely fortunate to study the clinical use of enzymes with Dr. Howard F. Loomis Jr, Dc, FIACA, a pioneer in the field of nutrition and the President of The Loomis Institute of Enzyme Nutrition.

Enzymes Are Natural.

All-natural, raw foods contain enzymes.  Thorough chewing releases enzymes in raw foods, allowing our bodies to digest and absorb nutrients, vitamins, and minerals.

Most Diets Lack Enzymes.

Cooking destroys enzymes.  Processed foods have their enzymes and vitamins removed to extend shelf life.  In processed foods, the vitamins are replaced but the enzymes are not.  When we eat foods that are devoid of enzymes it is a stress to the digestive system.  Supplemental enzymes can reduce stress on the digestive system and enhance the absorption of nutrients.

The Immune System Runs on Enzymes.

The immune system is also a focus of Enzyme Nutrition.  All functions of the immune system, including healing damaged tissue and fighting disease, are fueled by enzymes.  Supplemental enzymes can improve the body’s ability to heal and stay in balance.
